Ran tonight with x445 prop and 3S2s gens ace 5300mah 45c and burned up something. Motor or ESC not sure. Motor was way hotter than esc. Oh well I didn't really care I wanted to upgrade it anyways. Recorded 44.4mph on this setup before she blew and she was running pretty loose at that time.

Mtwinste, you need to be more clear when you are posting. 3S2S. what does that mean? Does that mean 2x 3s packs which means 6s total? Or do you mean you ran a 3s pack and a 2s pack in series for 5s total?

Neither the motor nor ESC burnt. It thermaled bc it ran fine later on.

Ran the x445 on two thunder power 2S 65C 6600mah in series. 43.4mph. Ran the batteries dead and the motor batteries esc everything was hot and even a little smoke came out from inside the hull!!!! Let it cool some and tried another pair of 2S packs and she was thermalled and wouldnt go over idle. New ESC and motor are on the way.Comment

So you ran 6s on the stock setup. Probably did significant damage to the motor and esc, and then ran 6600mah packs till DEAD?! All I have to say is....WHY?Comment
