If you got an ipad, iphone or ipod touch, do download this FREE from the app store:

Its just a very simple rc boat simulator, but better something than nothing, eh?

Sorry Lenny but the sim app is only for Apple - however the pc being more advanced when it comes to games/programs, I would've thought that it already has one.Originally posted by lenny View Post

Great Planes and even Hobby King offers a kick-a$$ rc car simulator that I want to get unfortunately it could only be hooked up to a pc and not mac.
Cool HPR boat there!

Hey Shawn - sorry if I missed your post. Been really busy with the holidays.Originally posted by srislash View PostYup that was a bad spell there Ed.Got some SK 180's coming for a retrial.
Hey mac,Weren't you looking for a yacht? I found this one http://www.jet-drive.de/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=17
And here is the real yacht http://www.overmarine.com/index.php?lang=en
Yeah, I was looking at yacht designs a few weeks back. Just a cabin design that I could build and placed on top the Apache hull to make it 2 boats in a single hull.
I wanted to finish the setup and run the apache in its stock offshore canopy first before making the new yacht cabin. Now that the Apache runs great I guess I could go ahead in making that yacht cabin for it.
I made some cardboard designs awhile back - but still couldnt decide on which one. Although that link you sent looks similar to a modern cabin that I built.
That rc boat simulator that I posted the other day also has a nice cabin design that Im considering, but I dont want to make the top canvass roof design as it looks tedious.

That is an AMAZING video! We've all seen model railroads. Many of us have them or have had them, but I've never seen a miniature operating airport before! How cool! Did you see the night time stuff at the end? Wow, wow!Originally posted by macdon View PostSorry for the OT guys ............ but this just blows my mind!!

I remember doing the train bit - it was summer of '77 while vacationing in the states. I got my first HO train set from a small but cozy hobby shop located under the bridge in San Francisco - cant recall the name of the shop nor the bridge. Since it was only an oval track layout, it took me 3-4 summers of going back to the states and buying additional tracks, buildings and accessories before permanently laying it all out on my mom's table tennis table.Originally posted by IndyHobbies View PostThat is an AMAZING video! At the same time, I was also into 1/35 scale military modeling so I was doing dioramas and train landscape as well. Good times back then!
Electric trains have been around for decades so most everything could be bought to make one hell of a kick-a$$ layout from a small table top to a whole basement setup - but I dunno with that airport. I know that there's a company offering scale die-cast commercial planes with some airport accessories - but the one in the video seems like a custom job.
