Mardon,the drivers will be more detailed that way too.You'll just have to tell me where to get them when the time comes.Yeah,if we can avoid the whole submarine/stuff a wave or wake as my DF likes to attempt that would be a bonus.

I will provide the drivers, no worries there. They also have race helmets. If you want civilians, the 1/8 scale pilots of Williams Brothers might do the trick.
I recently acquired 2 williams bros 1/8 scale racing pilots that were supposed to be used in my crackerbox project - however, they're just busts. The drivers I plan to use for the cig boat have arms and seat.

They do add in the realism.
One detail I forgot to mention is the canal for the acrylic windshield - just like with the real Geico cig boat.

Here you can see how big the opening will be - that 50mm T600 is engulfed!
