I wasn't that worried about the weight with a 1717 but not sure with the T-600.Mind you I have no intention of too much Zoom Zoom as I want to wave crash with it.
Your MG that started off as a hull

Im guessing that with a 37" AC wave slave and a 1717, you might just get both the zoom zoom and the crash crash! hehehe!Originally posted by srislash View PostI wasn't that worried about the weight with a 1717 but not sure with the T-600.Mind you I have no intention of too much Zoom Zoom as I want to wave crash with it.

I was looking into AC but now I'm pretty sure my 1717's are going into a twin Cat.I imagine AC's are pretty heavy for a T600.
Actually guys, how heavy is that Lazer?

Mac! Actually our fellow boater will be using a FC 300A esc capable of 16S lipo but he'll just be using 10S for his E-Laser 45. I already ordered it from FighterCat with the program box and usb linker I just added some items for my 37" Komodo! Hehehe! Got their email that they already shipped it!My Aquacraft SV27's old Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoTm4Btz41Q

40" Cigarette Boat Update
The top has been added & sanded with bondo so I am now making the open top canopy/hatch. Definitely a huge opening to easier plan the electronics.
Let me know what you guys think!

Yeah, but how much was the shipping cost for that esc? ............. about half way the shipping cost of my R42 gas hull?Originally posted by tagasagwan View PostMac! Yes,
I like the looks of it as if it was in the water coming at me.
I saw a new 36"Shockwave for $300.00,
Was not sure if srislash was still looking for one.

I've givin up on that now Lenny. If my LHS could've got it I would have bought it but there are better looking options out there it would appear....Originally posted by lenny View PostYes,

The cockpit looks good Mac, the dude in the seat is cool.Haven't seen him before. The nose of the hull not coming to a point should leave some new paint options.

Pardon the headless driver - it was all that my worker can finish yesterday before giving me the hull to make the canopy.
There are suppose to be 3 of them in the front row, then 3 vacant seats on the 2nd row. My plan was to include those 3 dudes in the canopy mold, but my worker suggested to keep them separate and just glued on as they could add difficulty when pulling a canopy product from its mold.
The engine bay deck should provide an ample space for styrofoam for floatation of the whole canopy, im hoping
The canopy opening is 9.5" x 17.5" - so its definitely big enough to sort out any electronics currently available in the market today.
I left about a 7/8" freeboard(?) on the front bow. Im thinking of a too pointed front bow might submarine the hull if it catches a big wave or chop - of course, it may prove otherwise, but it sorta gives it a bit scale appearance.Last edited by macdon; 03-29-2012, 07:53 PM.
