Glad to hear that Jason - we shipped that Friday last week, so it seems EMS was right in saying it would get to you in less than 1 week! Please keep us updated on its painting progress.Originally posted by jasoncyclone View PostHey macdon, I got the MG turbine canopy today!!!! I love it. I just need to find someone to paint it for me. Nope, no pipe yet - but incoming mail has been slow since December of last year.

Wow! All too quite in here!
Sorry for the OT question Macdon! Just wanna ask, which of these motors you guys prefer on a 32" single drive cat! A cc/neu1717 1580kv or a cc/neu1520 1Y 1600kv on 6S1P 5000mah 45C lipo, T180 esc set-up? Thanks! Also, any suggestions on props? Thanks!

Bondo work has started and we covered the whole thing in fiberglass cloth to hold its shape specially during wet sanding.

Well Stephan,I think the 1520 is a little smaller and therefore lighter,I don't have any experience with them though. The 1717 is larger and a real workhorse, you may be able to run a 450 with it but I think a 447 or 448 would be good.Originally posted by tagasagwan View PostWow! Excellent set of wheels you got there, Jerry! When I was looking at your pics, my son passed by and glimpse - he thought it was the real deal!Originally posted by HYDROJERRY View PostExcilent work on that new hull Macdon, but hurry up im going crazzy to see it done, hahaha,, i traded some wheels i had to Jesse on the for sale section and got some Blitz wheels from him, i had to clean them up cuz he painted over the chrome but i got them looking good again and even painted the maxxis words on them,, check it out!!!
Yeah, the hull is moving along fine - the next step would be what kind of ride pads to integrate into that.

Thanks Shawn for the info. I'm considering these motors for my Skunkworks Gen2 Cat. The Original plan was for a twin drive. But I'm setting aside my twin cat hardware, and twin Feigao 540 10XL etc. for my ekos hull. Unless Jason and I come up with a deal on a trade. I'm also looking at cheaper Chinese motors as an alternative for the pricey castle ones.Originally posted by srislash View PostWell Stephan,I think the 1520 is a little smaller and therefore lighter,I don't have any experience with them though. The 1717 is larger and a real workhorse, you may be able to run a 450 with it but I think a 447 or 448 would be good.My Aquacraft SV27's old Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoTm4Btz41Q

Any thoughts on using a single 5682 1700kv motor on 6s with a 37" cat?
