Does anyone know if you can run a 2s 5000mah and a 3s 5000mah battery together to make 5s? I just purchased a mg and keep reading that a lot of people run 5s lipos but before I purchase my batteries I want to know what will work for best results without upgrading my esc. I'm looking to try and atleast keep up with my friends spartan. Thanks for your help

Yes you can as long as there the same C rating.Prince 25 8XL,Delta force 29 8XL, SV27,Rio 51,Mini Rio,Stock Miss Geico m445,ERBE,Baja 5B SS, Hyper ST, Castle Emaxx. -
Be sure to disable the bec and run a external rx pack or your stock esc will let the smoke out..Also..I wouldnt run any prop bigger than a 42mm..I ran a m445 on my stock esc on 5s with the stock motor and the esc went up in smoke...I would run a x642 on 5s or the stock prop..Comment

how fast is the spartan running? you can get 40mph out of 4s with a prather 220. Otherwise 5s on a smaller prop will get you up there too.Comment

And then I'll sell my stock stuff and get the t180 and a castle and hit over 60 mph...47.1 is my best so far and stable too. No offense taken I make jokes too. My speed control blew the 1st day I powered it on....traxxas customer service is the BEST, that's why I stick with them. I can't wait to drive miss geico though. My boat on 4 s is pretty slow though.
