    MG Ride Pad fill

Ok, got out some sanding blocks today and went to town on her. Didn't make any edges sharper like the racers do but I did fill in the dips. Sanded her down with some 80grit then used the spotting putty bondo makes. Sanded back flat after drying. Repeated several times until it looked good then primered. Will paint either white or black tomorrow.

Were the ride pads that concave and is this standard on these hulls?

          Thanks Brushless will do.
bwells my hull had dips just under a 1/16" most have some concavity from what I've heard.
eboat gonna run her today and find out. Shot some white on her last night before bed. Bottoms are not perfect but close enough for who it's for! ME

Should make the boat ride more true and do less weird stuff like bouncing.
Ran her a few minutes ago after the "blueprint" and it does ride a little better. I would not call it a night and day difference tho. Moved the batteries waay back where they were halfway hanging off the back of the tray. Tried several different strut positions and speed was about the same all depths. Max recorded on garmin was 37.8 I think. Lots of chop today because it's really windy.

Ran her again but need some calm water to really hear the difference. I think that the COG from the factory is just way too far forward. Ran with the 5000mah's Lipo's half hanging off the back edge of tray and ran pretty good. Slapped on a Prather s215 to see how it did. Lost about 2-3mph from the x642 I had on this morning. I did notice a gurgling sound that was deff. not there on my maiden run. Kinda strange. Will get some video next weekend.

thank you for explaining it. i took mine out today as well. was windy here, using a x642 i was able to hit 39.5 on my gps. must have had a good wind behind her.

here is a deck camera video, I will try and get a better video next time.
