Maybe a x440, x640 or a grim 40x52/3 to start. A CF40 could work as wellOriginally posted by Driggs View Postwe put a ul-1 motor and ESC in the MG today and it hauls, but i need to try a diffrent prop, i used a grim 42x55 2 blade and it wants to kick the back of the boat sideways, what prop should i try

A different prop isn't likely to fix this problem... A strut adjustment to get a little more of the aft of the hull in the water might be helpful.Originally posted by Driggs View Postwe put a ul-1 motor and ESC in the MG today and it hauls, but i need to try a diffrent prop, i used a grim 42x55 2 blade and it wants to kick the back of the boat sideways, what prop should i try
Is the prop balanced and sharpened?? Dull blades will also cause this.
The UL-1 motor likes the 42x55, and it is, frankly, a pretty mild prop pitch-wise. It should work well if you get the boat tuned correctly.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA
