This sucks. Not bashing anyone. It just sucks. I want one. I'm impatient, yes.

"They" is our competition across town. And I'm sure they had no intentions of missing ship dates either.Originally posted by bigpapa View Postthey pulled the same crap with the UL-1
Hang tight, the boats left the factory a few weeks ago and are on the way here. Unfortunately, they use container ships to move product thousands of miles instead of hydroplanes :) Then they have union guys unloading the ships and moving them to truck/train/etc. to the warehouse. It all just takes time.
I'm impatient too! I drove them both (Geico and Stiletto) before and loved it, now I can't wait to get my hands on one again!
When they are ready to ship, you better believe we'll let you know!

Yes, that's what I wanted to know, if the final product came out as per your instructions or if they changed something down the bureaucratic ladder...Originally posted by Darin Jordan View PostJan... I'm not sure what you are asking?
If you are talking about the designs... both are my designs. The Stiletto the whole thing, and the Geico everything from the deck down, including the hardware.
I haven't had the final version of the Geico in my hands yet, however, but I've talked to the ProBoat Product Manager and have seen pics and the video. They did a good job, from what I can tell.

Good to know it's still your design.:::::::::::::::. It's NEVER fast enough! .:::::::::::::::

Nope... it's as we wanted it to be. This delay has nothing to do with the design that I know of. They were having labor issues in China. Not sure the details, but apparently there are some Chinese holidays that play havoc on some factories this time of year.Originally posted by Ub Hauled View PostYes, that's what I wanted to know, if the final product came out as per your instructions or if they changed something down the bureaucratic ladder...

I too, would have LOVED to have a Geico earlier on. My race season is getting down to the end (son's football starts up tomorrow, so time is going to get scarce), but it is what it is. Hopefully soon....Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

Thanks for the explanation for the delay, they are both very nice boats, you did a terrific job , I'll buy both the Stiletto and the miss Geico, its just a bummer they will arrive at the end of our nice weather, i just hope we have some sunny winter days so the ponds will thaw out enough to run them.Originally posted by Darin Jordan View PostNope... it's as we wanted it to be. Why do you say that? I you suggesting the date on horizon is wrong? I would love to buy this boat if it comes out next week, but I dont know why horizon would list the release of their own boat at a later date than what is expected...Seems like it would negatively impact sales.Originally posted by AndyKunz View PostI'd ignore that date if I were you :)
