Would this ESC been any good for a blackjack?

    Hey all,

I managed to smoke my stock ESC in my blackjack, would this ESC be a good replacement?

    Thanks,
    Jonny

If you plan on keeping everything stock, I don't see why not.

I run the 90a version of that ESC and have to say very happy with the item. HOWEVER i have heard of someone smoking there 60a running 6s..... its a little blurry but apparently the guy run an RX pack but didnt cut the red wire to the esc........ so we have no idea what exactly caused the ESC to smoke. could be because he was running external RX pack and bec at the same time or it could be running 6s or maybe even his setup (i have no idea what prop). If your planning to run no more than 5/6s with care it should be fine just dont prop up too much. If your a little worried then go for the 90a version peace of mind.

I already bought the 60A as I blew the old one and wanted to be running as soon as possible. I only plan on running 4s (2x 2s in Series) using the ESC BEC, stock motor and Octura X642 Sharpened and Balanced.

The 6s was probably overpropped ^s is overkill in that boat anyway. it should be great on 4s
