collet nut?

ok I got the nut unscrew'd how do u get it off the friggin shaft? Why cant s**t be easy...

take the motor loose and slide the shaft out (:

or pull the shaft out from the back sometimes it's kinda hard to get out the first time

make sure nut is all the way loose

the nut is off the motor and on the shaft....i cant get it off...do i just yank and yank or twist it?

try twisting and pulling the collet must be really locked good

f-ing thing pulled the motor im about to cut it!!!! how is it lock on there?

collet to motor with a set screw the collet nut just pinches down on cable

just be careful not to pull the bearing out of the front of the motor

well after twisting got it off but what grabs the shaft...it broke into a couple pieces...

whatever pinches down on the shaft broke....

need to buy a upgrade collet form the store here, they all break after a while real brittle

grade 8 hardned

strong but brittle no flex or stretch to it

good luck lube the shaft while it is out
