If this were a race boat I'd say that the rudder should be on the right. Should turn in both directions with this setup, and for a sport boater, that's a good thing. The CY motor creates more out of the box HP than the Zen, and up until a couple of years ago, they only made it with two bolts holding the cylinder on. Recently, they upgraded them to four. I'm pretty sure Proboat would have included the four bolt piece. The two bolt motors ran fine, although some believe that they are not as good as the Zen, and when you modified them, the increased RPM caused the bolts to break...
Anybody have a rockstar 48?

I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like more, so I guess I will take one of each......the boat looks cool too.

I need a solid Redhead in there to seal the deal for me...

They seem to offer the bare hulls for everything else, so I imagine they would.Originally posted by T.S.Davis View PostMight make a cool conversion Darin. Think they'll ever sell the hull without the motor?
The question then becomes, however, for the same money, what other options would there be for something this size?
I guess I'll have to see how nicely laid up this hull is before we go too far down that path.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA
