Has anyone experience ESC issues with the Ammo 36-50-2300kV Brushless In-Runner Electric Motor? I was informed by AquaCraft's technical support that the 2300 Ammo motor is not comparable with the stock ESC. In order to use this motor you will have to upgrade the ESC to the 60amp or risk burning out the speed control. So far I have destroyed two speed controls with the 2300 Ammo motor and stock ESC.

Which ammo motor are you running? The 2600 is not going to work with the stock SV esc, only the 2300 is going to work with the stock sv controller.Originally posted by ninjaSV27 View Post -

I've run my SV with that motor and stock ESC and have had no problems. You may have blown a cap so try adding some caps to your ESC Kintec sells them. Also you cant run any prop bigger than a 42mm a 40mm would be better are you still using Deans you should upgrade to 5.5mm at battery and ESC hope this helps. PS make sure its not running wet that will heat things up fast post some photos of your boat so we can help.2 SV 27's and Vac-U-Pickle UL-1 Power

The best prop we found with the ammo 2300 in that size boat with the stock ESC is the X437/3 blade or the X637/2 blade.

I had two 60 amp seaking esc's fail on my ammo 2300 in the sv. both on x642. Maybe too much prop? Maybe bad esc's? Temps were fine. Esc's didnt burn, they just shut down.Comment

add caps today and running boat with x437/3 and still running slow. I contacted Aquacraft yesterday and they informed me to return SV for service repair, SV still under warranty.Comment
