Rudder has a lot of play...

I tried to tighten the set screws where the pin is held, but my allen wrench keeps getting stripped. I dont know what else to do.

Sounds like you have to replace your setscrew mine does the same thing Loctite the setscrew in place

Check for play on the bracket coming off the transom where the rudder pin goes through. I found play there on mine. Placed a very thin shim there for now. Will Replace bracket and shim new one later.
