How in the world did you get the original battery tray out of your Revolt?

    Thanks

Mine pulled right out as it was only held in with some white silicone.

Perhaps a dumb question, but why do you remove perfectly good foam only to stuff noodles into the hull? The factory foam is lighter and floats my boat just fine!?

It's a personal preference, I've always used pool noodles when I started racing. Easy to remove and you can always get under the deck when needed, weight is not an issue..... When I first started 20 + years ago, used 2 part foam, hard to repair hulls when you can't get inside, went to the NOODLE after the 1ST wreak.

How did you make the cut-outs in the battery tray for the straps? That looks like a good idea.

With a Dremel, Mark how much you want to cut out with marker, you don't need much, clean up with file,Just watch out for the dust, wear a mask if you have one. Placement, raise it about little over 1/8", cut some ply on a 33* 1/4 wide strips enough to go under F/C Battery tray and Hull, Used resin and some cloth on the under side of tray, then used resin on sides, none at each opening, were Velcor Strap go.
