    Max Amps Lipos

Anyone out there running max amps lipos in the there UL-1? I was thinking about getting the 6500mah (150C they claim) lipos. I just wanna know if anyone is running these and how they like them. Will the esc handle that size of two cell lipo. The prop I use the grim L40x57 S&B. Thanks for your info.

9 out of 10 maxamps packs will supply more burst current than a lightning bolt striking the power leads of a speed control..

I'm not sure if those batteries will even fit in front of the motor. I'd buy some Turnigy packs. More packs for less money. Those max-amps are mighty $$$

Stock esc is very good. If the esc cut-off their maybe another issue, or you have a one with a smaller capacitor in which case you can go to the local electronic shop and get a propely rated capactior for less then $1 and fix your esc issue. Stock esc/motor are perfectly matched for this hull and are amazing all together!

Ive tried max amps packs in my ul1 as well as Turnigy.I could see no difference in speed or temps.Id buy the Turnigys and dont get sucked into that super duper high c rating crap.Just dont get batteries under 30c.I use that as my minimum when buying lipos.

Thanks guys for the info. I will be going with the turnigy lipos as soon as the ice goes away here in Michigan, it's a winter wonderland! Those max amps packs cost an arm and a leg I agree.
