Good eyes
Yip that is a female goose he is protecting while she is sitting on her nest...I didn't notice her till I saw the video too. We don't have gators that I know of in this little pond but do have a lot of huge fish (bass & carp) and turtles that have pulled under a Nirvana sailboat before.
That was one in the video that kept popping it's head up to see what all the commotion was about.
You have to run a pop up rudder in this pond or risk tearing out the transom.
I've already hit one with my new shovelnose.
