Blow off speed is the point the boat is airborne and on its way over and the prop is still in the water. The boat accelerates tremendously and the MPH reading goes up. Sometimes it does this (but just gets REAL LOOSE) the boat lifts, darts or whatever and adds MPH to an otherwise normal run.
I see it all the time with both GPS and Radar guns. You can watch the MPH go up live using a radar gun. Of course the GPS only reads peak!
Didn't get a chance yet with work, cars and coffee, a dyno day and a track event over the weekend I've been a bit busy. I will have it out this week/weekend.
