Hello everyone! I've recently built a 33" boat with a 3670 motor @ 1550 kv on 6s. I started with a 42mm 1.9 pitch (much too high pitch I now know) and was getting a lot of cavitation. Top speed was also quite a bit less than I was expecting. (Pitch too high, motor cant reach full rpm?) I'm now using the stock prop off a ProBoat Blackjack which I'm unsure of the specs on but cavitation is slightly better with better speed as well.
Which direction should I try going forwards? Larger or smaller? Higher or lower pitch? 2 or 3 blade?
If anyone knows of a good prop starting point for this size of boat and motor rpm I'd be more than happy to try it and report my findings. My boats got a 3/16" shaft.
Thanks in advance
