2bld to 3bld Q

I am running a 4814 two bold If I go to a 4518 3 bld is that smaller? I am running a 2030 KV UL1 motor. I want the same speed as the two blade but I want the stability of the three blade

You change about everything, number of blades, Diameter and Pitch.
The result will be a surprise and very much depending on the boat.

The 6,7% of change in diameter will not compensate the 28,5% Pitch-Change.

If both pitch-ratings are true (which often is not the case ) the 4518 will try to make the boat go much faster but this is simple rule of proportion. Whether the boat can handle the speed is a different story.

I have 2 tenth scales Vint. and Modern. Extremely fast. Vint. has a 447/2 & Mod. a 4814/2. We run a short course and I need more stability. Both CF . They deserve a better driver. thank you for any advice
