    What prop to run?!

I have a Titan 29 180a esc on 6s, motor was a 1620 kv (got it off here came with motor mount I bought, pretty sure is fried now) I've ran it with an x440 and ran fast but motor got really hot ( motor could have been junk from when I got it for all I know) I also have a x442, I'm looking to upgrade to 1800kv soon, so what prop options would you guys recommend to keep temps fair and speed high? Thanks!

What name brand motor is it? With that little prop you should have no problems at that kv with it running hot...if it's a decent quality motor. I have no experience with anything but castle motors (well one reedy motor, and it came apart...go figure) so I'm not sure what the quality is like on the other stuff. I'd recommend a 1800 kv 1512 or 1515 castle/neu motor for that hull. The alternative I'd recommend (only going off of what everyone on here says) is a tp power motor like a 4050 size in a 1600-1800kv.

A Kv of 1800 is too high for typical 6S mono operation, in most applications it will overheat. The little Titan actually runs very well with a 1500 Kv Aquacraft or ProBoat RTR motor on 6S as long as you have adequate cells and a decent ESC. Realize that hull does not like speeds much over 45 mph if you want to keep it upright. It runs very well with the 1800 Kv Aquacraft motor an 4S, reliable and speeds near the hull limit. If you want more practice retrieving your flipped Titan, then by all means go faster.

The motor that's in it I have no idea what brand it is and either did the guy sellin it , all I know is it says 1620 and it purple, all I wanted was the motor mount, and figured I'd give the motor a try, I have a proboat kv1500 out of my old totaled fastech I could swap into it but was told the 6s was to much for it but I'll throw it in and see how she does! Thanks! It's a seaking 180a and 2 brand new zippy 6s 40c 5000 wired in parallel they have one cycle on them

Ran the boat on 6s with the 1500kv with the 640 and 642 a lot faster with the 642! What other props would be good options? X645?

if the 642 is fast and u checked the temps on esc ,motor , batteries an they r not hot, work the prop's cup an pitch,
a little at a time, u may like what u see.
