    prop for 1/4 shaft in 55mm?

    hey all got sick of gas motor got a auqacraft T 20 to put in my 46 in mono .was running 70mm for gas 30cc .i hear to run the 10s batts i need to go down into 50mms to get started cant find any in 1/4 shaft ---any advice is welcome this is my first large scale conv so a little lost -- thanks

    you might want to use a 1/4 shaft with a 3/16 end on it. you can use smaller props for it that way.

      i was thinking that but just want to use whats at hand and this shaft is boss cant hurt it but may have to go and $$$$$
      i just need a starting point on the mm for a 730kv motor on 10s boat is heavy 22 lbs with gas motor--- warehouse hobbies enforcer ss now owned by bonzi boats

          Chris, I think that four-bladed prop will be too much for that motor on 10S in the big heavy boat. Too much blade area and too much pitch. That motor is not known for its robustness. I think the OP should go with the step-down 1/4" shaft, lots more prop options.

            I am a nitro and gas guy that is where my expertise lie for prop picking. I rely on you electric guys and Jay .to help me with that. I do have other 1/4 shaft small Prop shops in stock thanks chris

              If you do decide to go with the step-down shaft consider using a 1/4" drive dog.

                Use a drop down shaft. Shaft is cheaper than a Motor and Speedo!

                  ill have to wait abit a friend is a machinest said he could cut down my shaft to the 3/16 and thread it have to wait till end of may nuts
                  its warehouse hobbies enforcer with the sp 2 drive line set up will be callin them to see if they have other ends for my needs.

                    Get your self a 3/16 andshaft and you will have al the prop choice you will need .
                    As for 1/4 this is the only one i know who has them (i run them too is a stainless copy of the graupner k series)
                    But stock is very variable . And at the moment 0. But he has 50/55and61 mm low pitch stainless.
                    Verry though and there for harder to balance and polish but once done they are ther for life ,,, unles you drop it to the botom of your pond
