How much do you want to spend, and how fast do you want to go? The right metal prop will be considerably faster than the plastic prop. I like the Octura m445 on this boat, speeds with good cells are mid-40s. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=octsb-m445 This prop does reduce run time though - there is no free lunch.

my big thing is i dont wanna put a strain on the motor or the esc.i also heard u have to have metal props balanced and polished. nobody near me does this.theres a 8thousand square foor hobby store 3 miles from my house but they mostly deal with planes cars trucks and helos.

The link Fluid gave you here is the link to b/p/s/ props that OSE sells. It is a great deal considering how much work goes into them.
You should browse the OSE parts store and look into the props selection then you will know that for most popular sized props , OSE sells the b/p/s/ ones, since they are sort after, usually there is a chance that it is out-of-stock.
Right niow the m445 is in stock, if i were you, I will grab one.
I will also get an up graded flexcable, that way you won't lose another prop! http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...se-cable-mcrew
The Lucas Oil and Motley Crew should use the same part.Too many boats, not enough time...
