    carbon prop on a cheetah?

    Hello all,
Im building my first Cheetah. It will have a Neu 1520 (1577 KV) motor, T180, running on 6S. Im blue printing the hull, to flatten out the last step to help it not run wet.
Im not racing, but I would like to go 60 MPH.
If I adjust the t180 start up settings to super-soft, will a carbon-filled prop (sold here on OSE) even hold up, or will it just break straight away?
I plan on buying a nice CNC or Octura prop, just not sure which yet.

Imo thats too much boat for a carbon prop. If you use it and it breaks under way, it could cause damage...just not worth it.

I have shredded those props on a Daytona hull with a similar RPM.

Thanks guys. I was concerned, so I thought I would ask the experienced ones.

          Rocstar,
What about the Aluminum CNC props? How did they hold up?

So far I have had no issues with the CNC props, and I have ran some pretty high RPMs and even used them in SAW applications. I use the ones from Fightercat, OSE sells them also. There are some "less expensive" ones with no markings out there that I have come across that are much thinner that I would not use.
