can someone tell me what would be the next step up for a new copper prop for spartan boat, 2 or 3 blade?

I just bought the Spartan w /castle system. Just tried an x442 Octura 2 blade prop and it was night and day over stock prop. I tried to radar the stock boat but need another person. I got 48mph on 6s but ran out of room quick with stock prop. So I think stock its def over 50mph. Now with the x442 its def faster and less stable. Will radar when i can and I will also test the x642 which should even be more crazy. Just a note stock prop and 35c 6s nothing got hot. Putting on the x442 motor got hot only but the rudder also came loose.

Ok. I ran the x642 today and boat definitely runs and at stable speeds. Also went with the M445 and boat flies. It does lift wheelie out of water so it may need some weight in front. Does anyone think an X645 would work or will boat never stay in water. Everything seemed to be running at good temps with both props. I also tried the Prather in previous post but it was a 225. Boat was insane fast but hull can't handle it. Its all over the place. Even with the stock cooling everything was fine with all props.

If you are running stock cooling with stock Traxxas motor/ESC on 6S and bigger props you are a lucky guy from what I have seen(In person). Just keep a CLOSE eye on temps is my only .02!

If your running with the stock trim tabs I dont think you'll want to go any further with the props. If you have to start adding all kinds of weight to keep it from flipping its pretty much pointless. Get a good set of adjustable trim tabs and you'll have more to work with.
