X442's will be enough for low 70's on this hull. I've got a twin Timo on the way myself.

I don't see that unless you are using like 45k rpm neu motors. 447's yes. maybe that is what you meant. Running 447's would need some 10xl's or at least 1512's

8xl motors on 4S each to 442's yielded only low to mid fifties. That would be around 29k rpm unloaded. If you could run some 1515 1y's on 6S. Now THAT would get er done with 442's

You are correct about the rpm. I used 442's in my Aeromarine Sprintcat. It's a 35" hull, but much larger in volume than a Timo. I ran twin Neu/Castle 1515 1y's on 5s1p each with 442's and it was in the low 70's. It was a reliable setup as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW5O3sMSBkE

Yup, I've still got her. Don't think I'll ever get rid of this boat. Started as a nitro, then single FE with a 1527 1.5d, then twin 1515's. I may have a pair of x447's cut down to 45mm for my Maritimo though and run a little less rpm.

propshop UK make some damn nice props. a little sharpening and you good to go

I've just contact propshops uk, they say, all the props that being order by their customer are sharpen, balanced and polished before they ship it. I haven't bought any prop from them but seem the price are pretty convincing

yes they are balanced. and sharpend.
they just not SHARP. compared to a raw prop from prather or octure they are brilliant. if you used to a b\s prop from OSE,cmdi or eggnegg and so on. they are not sharp at all.
