Once I make the coupler, I can locate the stuffing tube and get on with building the wire drive. I call it a “wire” drive, but in this case, I’m going to use 0.8mm carbon fiber rod. With the low power of this system, it should be more than adequate. I chose to use the carbon fiber as there will be less radial load on the brass bushing in the strut. Less radial load = less friction.
I'm using 0.8mm (1/32") music wire in the Atlas and the same size CF in this project.
You're on you own for the rest of it, but I think you are a resourceful kind of chap.
