Seriously though, the 3D printed drive figures have arrived and they are FANTASTIC! The level of detail is outstanding.

I found a video of the first run of the Atlas Prototype. As you can see, I had WAY too much lift at the prop, causing it to hop all around. Spun out in the first turn because of the hopping, then disintegrated the plastic X430 prop.

I've since raised the strut and moved the battery back a bit.

Well, I went to a new pond today with my friend Wayne. Now I don't have to worry how to finish the prototype hull. Wayne finished it for me. It was still floating after the ramming, but thanks to fortune and the generous amount of foam built into the sponsons, all the mechanical and electrical components survived and stayed dry. As luck would have it, it got flipped over on it's back so the half-dollar sized hole in the bottom of the hull was above the waterline. The other quarter-sized hole was in the rear non-trip area which in essence is a sealed compartment.
