    Dumas DV-10 conversion to FE

I don't like to get rid of stuff so I still have my original DV-10 I built back in the late 70's. Recently I had this idea to convert it over to electric in the hope that maybe my future grand kids will enjoy it too. I did find the mini strut and rudder assembly from OSE and thought that it might be right for what I want to do. I'm looking for power suggestions from you out there; maybe someone has done this conversion before. I want it to be fun and exciting but not some uncontrollable lake dart. thanks.

very cool. I hadn't thought of going that route. I 've seen the Pro boat "duck" and thought of using that jet drive--are there other small units available?

the only jet drive available that I know of at the moment is the 29 mm unit from Mikiebee over in the Unique Products and Services thread

thanks, I'll check out his unit and see if that's the way to go.
