That's not too bad...
But You need to come watch mine with a 2S2P Neu motor setup in it!

I was actually using 4S1P Lipos... The rest is correct... though, that's not the prop I'm running now (for P-Mono...)... I've gone a tad bigger... :DOriginally posted by Jeepers View PostDarin Jordan uses a X646 on his sv and I think he was hitting 42mph, on 12 cells. I also think he was running 5 laps on a 1/8 mile course.
The motor is full of torque... I don't think it's very efficient at too high a voltage, but it'll tug a decent prop... BUT... I wouldn't run that big a prop if I were driving it like the guy in the video... WAY too much on and off and wet running... The motor and ESC would get pretty warm under those conditions...
My Spec SV27 GPS'd at 38mph with decent 12-cell batteries and an ABC 42x55 prop... If you are only getting 38-39 then I don't really think that running the weight of the two extra cells is worth the trouble... You'd be money ahead to just buy a nice set of Lipos... you don't even need the high-C ones... Mine runs just fine off a pair of 3300mah 20C Poly RC packs... for heat racing anyhow... though I've been running my 4350mah packs lately, just for the extra weight to help the handling...Darin E.
