    water troubles

Im still tuning my boat and keep getting a little water in it. more than I would like for sure. tub tests and pressure tests on cooling lines turn out nothing. Does anyone think my prop shafts could draw this much in. is there a way to remedy that anyone has tried?

How much are you getting? You could put more grease on the shaft or put a small sponge in the back. You could glue in a pin and put the sponge on that.

thats nothing, i get 1 dixie cup of water in my SW26 from just 1-2 minutes of running....i dont know where it comes from, i sealed up all the holes and i always grease the shaft...i think the vibrations from the cheap coupler move the shaft around enough to let water in.....

That and I saw you reversing in one of your vids....that just forces water up under the hatch.....tape everything!

              water

Yes, a lot of water can come up the tube. I had the same problem with my mean machine. I put grease in the tube and set the drive dog to strut gap to 3mm/ 1/8 inch, with a tight fitting nylon washer between them. I also used heat shrink over the tube and strut connection. My boat was dry on the next run.

I definately dont have the wave comin over problem. I trimmed it up a little and had my first blowover. Top hatch ripped off but bottom stayed, I think the foam saved it. it was in the water upside down about 5 minutes and seems ok. anything I should do to electrics, wd40 or just let em dry?

Lettem dry for a few days. I would remove any shrink wrap from the esc's and open up the receiver.
