I ran my Matrix rigger with a 9XL on 4s1p with x645 with great results.. One fast little hull if it setup right!Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

1) How fast do you want to run
2) How long do you want to run?
3) What cells do you have?
Answers to these questions are needed before meaningful answers about props can be given. If for example you want maximum speed for 2 minutes and have high-quality cells in 4S2P configuration, then a 1747 would be a good place to start. That prop takes a while to hook up but should give speeds in the low-mid-60s. If you want to run for five minutes and/or have lower-quality cells, then an x642 is a better choice. Expect speeds in the low-50s - all depending on boat setup of course.

4S1P 25C 5000mAh.
Running heat races, maybe 3 minute run time.
How fast do I want to run? Well of course as fast as possible and still be in control and able to finish the race. ;-)

Do you remember where you set your strut depth and angle? What about COG?

I would place your rigger on a flat board (without the turn fin, preferably) and looking at it from the side, raise or lower the strut until the tub is paralell with the board. Next, I would give the strut about a 1 or 2 degree angle back (prop angle down) just to be on the safe side.Originally posted by sailr View PostDo you remember where you set your strut depth and angle? The CofG should be right around where middle of the turn fin is (if it's mounted correctly). Not sure how far forward of the transom on that rigger...
