    How To Repair Hull Damage ?

    My boat hooked in a turn and got t-boned by another boat. The fiberglass is still there, but the gelcoat chipped off. What would be the best way to repair the damage ? Here are a couple pictures

      Sorry to hear this happened. Have you considered some epoxy? I've used epoxy on some in the past.

          You need to use sandpaper to feather the edges then fill with poly-flex by evercoat (or some similar filler that will flex). Block sand and repaint.

              I have some G-Flex Epoxy from West Systems, would that work ok ? Will there be a problem with primer sticking to it ?

                  The epoxy worked well. filled, sanded, primed, and painted. Looks like it never happened. Thanks for the help.

                          As you have found out... West Systems is an excellent epoxy for this type of application!!! You did a great job on the repair.
