i just found out my sony camcorder has a memory card slot...i thought it only recorded on tape, so i couldnt tranfer it to the comp. so i stole the memory card from my digi cam and will try to make some better vids of the SW26...cant today though...theres a big thunderstorm rolling in and by the time it passes it will be too dark to run...maybe tomorrow...the vids i already took were from my digi cam, so i hope there is a good increase in quality with the camcorder...

i got the vids (uploading now) and the picture quality seems to be much better, but the frames per second seems to be a little slow, so it looks more like a bunch of pictures than a video.....i dont know if it was the setting i had on the cam or not....i have another fully charged batt, so ill see if i cant fix it and take another vid....

well i fixed it up and ran it again and not as much water gets it...only thing i wish they did was make the opening for the hatch an inch or so longr in the front so i could get the batts it...i switched out the motor to try a low rpm high tourque 600 plane motor with one of the villain props...when i tried to get the batt it, it knocked one of the capacitors loose...and another thunderstorm is coming in so i cant run till later today...

you should stick a 700 motor 12 cells, start with a x 445 and work your way up.

i am...well...with the SW26 it will be a 700SC on 12 cells using a jet drive (the back of the hull is flat, so its perfect for a jet drive...the CC2 will have a 700SC, 14 cells both will use a jeti naby 600 esc....

i tried something different....i had a 600 plane motor (low rpm, but high tourque) and i used the traxxas villain prop on it...it goes alot faster now...not super fast, but definately a noticable difference in speed....i think maybe a 2-3 mph gain....its alot quiter as well...i was using the same batt i used from the first run today (the one i filmed) and i havent charged it since them....im charging it now and will see if its any faster fully charged....
