What CC 240 LV timing for 1521 1.5D ?

Tony, Steve is absolutely right, Delta winds don't respond much to timing, thus generating heat... 1 or 2 degrees would be more then enough... I think I saw the 1515 at the Spa, he had to chicks with it... seems to enjoy margaritas too much.

Much appreciation for the info and you're welcome here anytime I was most concerned because I'm running a 1521 1.5 D-wind temporarily in my P-Mono while my 1515 1Y is at Bernardo Court for some therapy [ after 2 years of racing it and temporarily holding the NAMBA 2-lap P-mono record, it needed a little rest ]
I have the CC240 [V 1.04] set at "low" timing & recalibrated the throttle for the D-motor. Will run it this weekend with a clear mind now that you've confirmed the timing info.

Here is the info you need--for best efficiency use the lowest advance settings for all of our motors--D or Y. If you want a little more speed you can use up to the middle advance settings with the "Y" type motors. Always use the lowest advance with the "D" motors as advanced timing will not give more speed--only more heat. Ive allways heard that the D wind motors do not like lots of advance. The Y widings can take more advance timing.

I have tried all the settings with that same setup and temps seemed to be the same all the time but i only run SAW anyhow. Fastest speed was always on highest setting.

ON 1515's I was told by Castle set at lowest

also told 2 pole motors at low

I was tought 7-8 for best results all around. I am sure you could "heat" it up more but thats what I was told.

I'm using 1.04; can "custom set" at any value. Looking for coolest motor temps, with decent speed.
