is the 40 mm graupner the same as the x438??

The X438 is a 2.087" pitch and 38mm in diameter, with a 1.4 pitch ratio... So right off the bat the Graupner is 2mm larger in diameter...
Graupner makes several versions of the 40mm if I recall... I think they are the "K-Series" and the "M-Series", among others... Each is a different pitch ratio...
Keep in mind that, even if the pitch and diameter are the "same", blade profiles, blade thickness, flex, etc., will cause them to perform differently...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA
