I have two sets and performance wise they are very similar maybe slightly better. Downside is that they self discharge while sitting way more than the IB4200's so you have to keep ontop of your Battery Maintence otherwise you will have dead cells.

Well good question and I can't answer that yet as I only have a few cycles on them now.I think I only have about 4 heaqts of racing on them so far. I have races the next two weekends in a row so they will get more of a workout in the next couple of weeks.

That is correct but if you are racing and you use sub c's then the IB4200's are what you want.
Have you tried batterystore.com?

If your racing all out, IB4200's are the way to go. However, do not expect them to last very long and they require maintance because they self discharge at different rates. You may find out that your cells will arrive discharged as well from your supplier.
I look for R/C car racers to move towards LiPoly in the future.

Steve,
Have anyone tried, or do you have any info, on the Ellite 4500 cells?? How do they compare on a "racing" basis? I'm thinking SAWs or the Nats...
Would appreciate any info you may have...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA
