need ideas on watercooling cuda 125

wouldnt that only cool one board of the esc when theres 3, or can i separate them and put in 3 of those.

One cooling plate on top and one on the bottom. You can also add a cooling fan. There is a lot of info on watercooling the Himodel 200A ESCS. (HM 200A)

You can hold the cooling plates in place either by heat tranfer epoxy or heat shrink or epoxy...

I am not familar with the Cuda 125. Only the FETs on the boards need to be cooled. How many boards have FETs on them?

I know what your talking about, since that ESC used to be mine . I couldn't figure out any solutions for water cooling it. The one they sell on OSE doesn't like like it would fit since there are three circuit boards on that controller. What are you putting it in?

Its in my fuller's blackjack, yeah i was over at ray fuller's house yesterday and we discussed cooling that sucker, i got a cooling plate for the top board and i think im gonna slide a metal plate thru the middle and then solder tubes to both ends sticking out.

That ESC was the replacement ESC Castle sent me a few years ago. Ray actually rigged my SV27 with the original cuda 125 up in Washington, that's funny, it's come full circle... almost.

Castle had issues with cooling the .125 hence the Hydra series so it's tough but Im sure you'll get it figured out. Good luck man, it's a great controller that can handle a beating for sure.

You can also try a small cooling fan either 5V (power from receiver) or 12V, blowing into the ESC, if your water cooling is not effective.

I WAS NOT yelling, im in the architectural field and at work i always have on full caps. thats just how plans are done.

Here's how I've always done mine... .030" copper plate with 5/32" copper tubes soldered on. CPU Heat transfer compound on the plate, then slide them in onto the FETs and heat-shrink to hole them in place...
