Nice. Which 4-40 rod are you using? Is it s/s or galvanized?
There are the Dubro Heavy Duty 4-40 ball links available also which I suppose fit the 4-40 rods.

At this point I am only using galvanized, because I usally need to make a bend of some sorts. However, if I can get the servo/rudder set up so the push rod is straight, i would try and use the SS stuff.

Problem with the actual HD Dubro stuff is the size, it's just physically too big for the size of boats I am running 30" and under.

Try smaller bicycle spoke wire for smaller boats and the bigger stuff for your large boats. Can buy it at any bicycle shop or even off an old bike.

An old thread, but the same issue. I'd like to use 3mm stainless for my linkage, but I can only find 3mm fully threaded.

What's everyone else using? Is 2mm stainless strong enough?
