speed control question

I'd like to get a water cooled Jeti 600 ESC to run a 550 size brushed motor (6 cells) with the thought that I will upgrade to a 700 brushed motor later on (12 cells) I'd rather pay the extra cash now instead of getting a smaller 6 cell ESC and have to replace it.

I guess if you plan on getting a lower wind motor then go for a better ESC then?

The Jetti 600 won't operate on 6 cell voltage. You'd have to go up to eight cells and your 550 sized motor probally won't like that much. What is the application?
