Disable BEC on Hydra 120

Does the BEC get disabled when I use a 4 cell LiPo or do I need to disable it manually.

Pull the red or middle wire..Just leave the signal and ground wires...wirtie the power wire out of the way. I am unsure if the hydra has jumpers so i cant comment.
