Also someone reminded me that its very important to treat these like explosives. While at a race I witnessed a taped hatch exploded far into the air from a capacitor explosion. So if there are ANY signs of deformation of the cap, get rid of it.

I work on a lot of analog audio gear, with very large caps often times. Caps are very dangerous when failing, so replace when suspect!

I see OSE now stocks the new Etti HV cap banks for up to 8S. Any one installed them yet and they look huge, are they? Are they installed the same way as the normal one?Comment
