I have seen three explotions from nickel batteries and not one from Lipo. We all know and have seen the idiots on you tube blowing packs on purpose but in the real world with common sense ( seems to be lacking in some) Lipo packs are very safe to run, charge properly, run with correct lipo settings and they will reward you with 100's of runs ....

Due to an accidental oversight in providing firewood to illuminate the nightime festivities at the last FE Nat's at Lake Minden, an anonomous Gentleman racer mistook a slightly puffed 10S pack for a 2 x 4 , hammered a nail into it, and provided some charming illumination and warmth for the evening's revelry, allowing the tired racers to bathe in it's soothing glow !

I am happy to see that it takes a nail driven into them to possibly make them go boom !!.......and as we have seen even a nail may not do it.
