Hey , just got a great deal on a toysport triton hull and hardware from Andrew at fast electrics here in Australia. Realy stand up guy. Any way was thinking of 8L with hydra 120 and 4s lipo 38-40mm prop. Any ideas would be great.

A 8L on 4s is way too hot.
Are you just playing, (sport running) or racing your buds??

Then my suggestion would be a 8XL 2084kv and you'll have your hands full.( Steven has you in the same ballpark.) We have two that are running 2200kv motors on 4s 4900s and they are insane, 108 amps in the straight-aways.Originally posted by andym View PostSteve I am taking your advice when you told me to pick my battery and stick with it. I have 6 4s 4000 mah packs I use on the F1 and would like to use these in the toysport. What do you run in your toysport?
Does your hull have a flood chamber?

Dougs right on with his suggestion. I personally would run a 9xl or 10xl if you are not racing. With the 9xl or 10xl you will also be able to swing a bit larger prop to offset some of the speed loss from the 8xl.Steven Vaccaro
