    Which way would be a better setup?
    Surface or submerged?

      I've heard that too much hull out of the water can cause serious chine walking. Based on that, I'd run it surface drive. Experts need to chime in though.

          Surface. I'd mount it a tad higher than what is shown in the first picture.
