P sport hydro setups..hulls and motors...need help

Anyone know how to get in touch with Pete and order one of his hulls? I messaged him through here via user name "Shooter", but haven't received a response.

Oh, any thoughts on the Whiplash Sport20 Gen 2? Having seen where others said some of Blazer kits where difficult.

I have both sport hydros the 31 and 34.I think there the best looking and if setup right they win races.

I have an ML GP 310. It was originally set up with a TP 4050 2100 kv, OSE 150 Raider and run Turnigy Panther 6000 batts.

Last year I broke the NZMPBA P sport hydro 2 lap record with a 33.4xx seconds, ( I held the previous time with a whip 20).

This year I have upgraded to a Tenshock 2240 2100 kv, ZTW G2 200A and Entropy 120C 6800 mah batts. On Saturday I smashed my previous record down to 27.9xx seconds. Prop was an OSE H46 brass cnc, unmolested.
That is 5.5 seconds off the time. I actually couldn't believe it! I think I can do a faster time next year.

Hi Peter, I have a PT Stealth 30" I got used.
So far, Ii've flipped it every time I've run it!
I'm concerned about the angle of the Strut, what angle do u recomefd for it and what props are you using?

You Just have to test and try. I am using low lift high rake props, I dropped my strut down about 3mm from running higher lift props to compensate. All you can do is drop your strut until the boat starts to hop in the rear, then adjust up until the hopping stops. If you are still blowing over then either an airdam or weight is the fix. There are threads with the stealth so perhaps search them, or perhaps another stealth racer can help more.

Weight! Run the strut flat on the Stealth and add weight in the nose. I think I ended up around 9 oz. Been a while. It's counter intuitive but weight is not a big issue with the power we are putting down. Phil's boats run light on their feet so to speak. When you get close you'll know what I mean. Super satisfying when they fly right on the edge.
