i would change wires ESC to have motor turn opposite direction

If it's flex cable you'd have to change that as well. And you limit prop selection. Why are you thinking of changing rotation?

I heard you can just flip the prop around and its all good.

i came into a selection of right hand props
sounds like going right hand may have a few too many complications
