I'm using a neu 1527 850kv which is 40x102mm and 8s and 5000mah. This gives enough for a 6 lap race approx 90 secs.

I had the same when I had my 1/8 Scale. Same hull being discussed here actually. I showed him a 56mm can so it'll be pretty forgiving no matter what "accidentally" gets put on it lol.
