Thank you! I thought these two vehicles needed to have 2 different transmitters and receivers but I was wrong 2 player games.

The transmitter and receiver for both nitro and electric RC vehicles are the same. As a result, you won't have to update them.

I’m still working on my first build of Fast Electric 1/8 scale hydro so I’m a newbie when it comes to hardware but for converting from nitro to electric I can recommend two videos provided by M5 Performance Hydroplanes – Scott Meyers.

Make sure you check the COG in the boat before the build swap and use that as a guide when fitting the electric motor and batteries.

Yes you can. Line up motor mount and motor to stuffing tube, and correct coupler for motor and cable.

Sorry don't know what hardware your boat has.

You're probably gonna want to go with a 250 to 300a esc . I'm slowly build Miss Elam and using a NEU 1527 1.5Y 850 kv Motor. I'll be running 2 4s packs in series or maybe 2 5s packs . So 8 to 10s.

    Dumas miss circus circus conversion

Looking to change out my nitro set up to electric. Not willing to loose any speed. Anyone have any suggestions about electric motor/ ESC/ prop to convert to that will keep me in the 65 to 70 MPH range.
Boat is 43 inches long and weights in around 5 lbs without hardware
