Hi all it was suggested to me to use G-flex epoxy to glue my fiberglass battery trays to my wood hull looking at the West systems site there are several different G-flex epoxy sold. Which one would be best suited for my purpose ? Regards Andris Golts.

I use the thickened one in tubes. Fills voids and does not run away from the joint. Will hang-on in places where JB Weld popped off.

Mike, I also use the graphite powder for black tint. I think it reduces the pot life a lot. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong with the mix.Originally posted by longballlumber View PostAgree! They have a full compliment of fillers. I too have used their white and black dye's

Hi Ron,
I don't use the graphite filler for blackening my epoxy mixtures. I only use the Black Pigment. IIRC, West Systems suggest 3% pigment of your total epoxy mixture. I use a gram scale for all of my epoxy mixing so it's fairly easy for me to get the mixtures right.
